Of Light

The optics is beautiful and many-sided. It illustrates the development of science, and is an example of combining of different models as "facets" of a magnificent harmonic unified science.

There are many good books, monographs, scientific manuals devoted to optics. Here I want to share my delight that I found looking at this gemstone -called optics - admiring the brilliance of its facets. Maybe it will attract someone else who has not yet discovered to discern such charm.  😊

How difficult optics is? The term “difficult” can be understood as “a lot of different parts to be combined”, or it can also be understood as “requiring thought”. In optics, it is surprising and delighted that it is built on a very small number of simple and understandable "rules". Any optical phenomenon can be explained on the basis of one or two principles. One just need to think. 😉

Optical phenomena themselves sometimes seem impossible at the first look.
It make them similar to puzzles, solving which you get real pleasure.
